We have established a strategic alliance with Utilis Corp, a leading Israeli company, to offer water utilities an innovative, precise, and cost-effective solution. This technology allows for highly accurate spatial identification of leak coordinates in water systems, enabling rapid response that minimizes losses. Developed by our Telemetry Department.
ASTERRA uses a satellite orbiting the Earth, sending signals that bounce off the Earth's surface and generate images that, when integrated into network information systems, precisely identify leak points requiring immediate intervention. This project, implemented by Btp Aquaforjas in several cities across the country, has already demonstrated outstanding results.

ASTERRA Recover: Revolutionizing Leak Detection
ASTERRA Recover is the most advanced underground leak detection technology and winner of the 2021 AWWA Innovation Award. It uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to identify leaking moisture from pipes without the need for visible evidence on the surface.
Since its launch in 2016, it has detected more than 100,000 leaks, saving 368 billion gallons of drinking water and 920,000 MWH of energy annually.

Using L-band SAR radar, EarthWorks scans up to 3,600 km² and detects moisture down to 3 meters, enabling non-invasive, accurate, real-time monitoring to prevent failures and reduce maintenance costs.
